ELVO-Hellenic Vehicle Industries 2020 S.A. has been a partner of the Hellenic Armed Forces and governmental authorities for over 50 years, with a proven track record of designing, developing and manufacturing of military, civilian and special use vehicles, including the Leopard 2HEL MBTs, the Leonidas 2 APCs, the Mercedes-Benz 240GD/290GD 4×4 vehicles, the up-armored HMMWVs and the Steyr 680M-M3 logistic trucks. All these vehicles are still in service with the Hellenic Armed Forces.

Following the investment of two leading Israeli defence companies, namely Naska Industries-SK Group Ltd and Plasan Sasa Ltd, ELVO 2020 has evolved to a new company ready to face the challenges of the 21st century.

Located in Sindos Industrial Area, in Thessaloniki, ELVO 2020 covers a total plant area of 273,000 m2 (67.5 acres) out of which 66,000 m2 are covered spaces for production, assembly and testing. The ELVO 2020 facility is complemented with a 1.1-km test track, a 2-m fording tank and a dedicated 600 m2 EMC chamber that can accommodate an entire main battle tank.

The Paint Facility has been modernized to provide services for every type of vehicle for private or public use, either civilian or military.

ELVO 2020 applies and maintains a Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 standard.

The ELVO 2020 facility and key personnel have NATO Security clearance in accordance with the National Industrial Security Regulation.
